Four Day Beginner’s Course
The four-day course is an intensive course and runs over four consecutive days. It is aimed at students who have little or no experience with woodworking tools as well as those who just need a good recap or to polish up their skills.
The course will equip you with a solid foundation in basic furniture manufacture. You will:
Learn about different types of wood and what to select for projects.
Develop an understanding of a range of woodworking techniques.
Gain the confidence to use basic hand tools and woodworking equipment.
At the end of the course, you will take home a handcrafted display stand made from solid American black walnut and ash which you can proudly display in your own home.
NB: Spaces are limited to six to ensure that attendees get lots of individual support.
Gift vouchers are available but due to demand, a specific date must be booked to avoid disappointment.
Use of all tools and materials is included as well as a delicious lunch at the local gastropub.
There is a maximum of 6 students on the course. The course costs £560 for the four days and a non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your space. Full payment is due 28 days before the course begins.
